Project 1:

Front Extension, Entrance Redesign and Internal Reconfiguration

Alterations to improve the appearance, layout and functionality of an existing detached home, including a forward extension to the garage and a new entrance feature across the principal elevation.

• Planning application prepared and submitted
• Existing garage extended forward to align with the main building line
• New pitched roof introduced across the front elevation
• New oak-framed entrance porch and redesigned front doorway
• Ground-floor layout reconfigured to improve circulation and living space
• Proposed external materials selected to complement the existing property
• Building Regulations drawings to follow

Key Outcomes:

• Created a stronger and more balanced front elevation
• Improved the visibility and character of the main entrance
• Integrated the garage more successfully with the existing house
• Introduced a practical and better-connected ground-floor arrangement
• Retained the established character of the property while providing a more contemporary appearance
